JCGC Sadharmik Bhakti Fundraiser (COVID-19)

As many of us are aware of the unimaginable worsening conditions in India due to the second wave of COVID-19 that has hit nothing less than a tsunami, the JCGC board members have decided to start a fundraiser (Sadharmik Bhakti / General Purpose Covid Help) to raise money for those Jain families struggling in India. We want to do whatever we can to help, so please join us.

You have all seen the distressing images and have heard the devastating stories that are making headlines on a daily basis. It seems as though every family in India is in pain - constantly losing relatives and friends. The complete lockdown by the local govt. (like Maharashtra) has created challenges for our Sadharmik families to survive in this time. There are hundreds of heart-wrenching stories of Sadharmik families who are facing a lot of struggle to fulfill the daily basic needs for their family and themselves.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $26,000 which will be used to sponsor at least 130 families by donating $200/15,000 rupees per family. We have around 130 members so our minimum goal is to sponsor 130 families i.e. at least one family sponsored by one JCGC member. As we all have close ones in India and know the struggle they are going through, sponsoring families who are in need of it will surely appreciate our help and prayers. Let us all come together as a Sangh and help the ones in need.
