Please review the guidelines before registration
- Performance and attendance is mandatory for Pathshala students. This would be considered as their class project.
- Entries will be accepted as first come first bases to avoid duplicate entries.
- Joint performance is only allowed between siblings of the same family.
- Performance duration has to be 3 minutes or under.
- Parents/family of children wishing to participate in MJK cultural program must have their membership in good standing (annual dues of $151 must be paid). Please contact Pareshbhai Shah / Siddhiben Shah at treasurer@jaincenterus.org / joint.treasurer@jaincenterus.org if you need any help with renewing your 2021 membership.
- Any items or materials received after April 10th may not be considered for inclusion.
- All performance videos must be approved by the Selection Committee.
- Solo dance performances are allowed this year as an exception because of pandemic.
- Minimum recommended age to perform in a dance or skit is 5 years, unless approved by the Selection Committee.
- Children up to age 18 years that are currently in high school may participate in the cultural program. Adult performances are not allowed.
- All performances should be dignified, in spirit of the event, and have Jain religion theme. The decision of the Selection Committee will be final on the appropriateness of any performance.
- Dress code Boys: Traditional Indian (e.g. Kurta Payjama)
- Dress code Girls: Traditional Indian (e.g. Salwar, Chaniya Choli)
